Setup and Care
Getting started:
Download the eufy Security App on iOS or Android before beginning. Connect the HomeBase 2 to your router via Ethernet or Wi-Fi, then follow the in-app steps to add each sensor and the keypad. The whole kit can be up and running in a single session without any specialist tools.
Mounting the sensors:
Entry sensors attach to door or window frames using the included adhesive pads or screws - no drilling is required for a standard installation. The motion sensor and keypad mount to walls at the recommended height for best coverage.
Expanding the system:
Once the 5-piece kit is running, additional eufy Security devices - cameras, video doorbells, and extra sensors - can be added through the eufy Security App. The HomeBase 2 supports up to 16 devices in total.
Keeping the system in good condition:
Wipe components with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents on any part of the system. Check the battery level indicator in the eufy Security App periodically and replace the siren's CR123A battery when prompted.
