RGBIC Independent Colour Control:

Unlike standard RGB strips that display one colour at a time, the H618C uses RGBIC technology with built-in independent control chips across all 180 LEDs. This means multiple colours can appear simultaneously along the full 10-metre length, giving far more variety and depth than a conventional single-colour strip.

App, Voice, and Music Control:

The Govee Home app (iOS and Android) gives you full control over colour, brightness, and effects from your phone, including access to over 16 million colours. The strip connects via both Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz) and Bluetooth, supports Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice commands, and includes 11 Music Modes that react in real time to audio via a built-in microphone.

Setup and Care

Getting Connected:

Download the Govee Home app on your iOS or Android device before setup. The strip connects via Bluetooth for initial pairing, then links to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network for remote access. Note that 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks are not supported, so ensure your router's 2.4 GHz band is active during setup.

Mounting the Strip:

The H618C includes an adhesive backing for straightforward surface mounting. Clean and dry the surface thoroughly before applying to ensure a firm bond. The strip is not cuttable, so plan the full 10-metre run before securing it in place.

Indoor Use Only:

This strip has no protective coating and is rated for dry indoor environments only. Keep it away from moisture, steam, and outdoor conditions. It is well suited to bedrooms, living rooms, behind televisions, under shelving, and gaming or entertainment areas.

Keeping It Working Well:

Wipe the strip lightly with a dry cloth if dust accumulates - avoid any damp or chemical cleaners. Keep the power adapter in a ventilated area and do not cover or bundle the cable during use. The Govee Home app receives regular firmware updates, which can be applied from within the app to maintain performance.
