Setup and Care

Installation:

Remove all transit bolts using the supplied spanner before first use - there are typically four bolts at the rear of the machine. The caps provided cover the bolt holes once the bolts are removed. Connect the cold water inlet hose to a standard domestic cold water supply tap and route the drain hose to a standpipe or sink. The machine is cold fill only and the built-in heater warms water to the selected temperature.

Getting the Best Results:

Load the drum to the recommended capacity for each programme - overfilling reduces wash quality, while very small loads increase water and energy use relative to output. Use the SmartThings app to select the most energy-efficient cycle for the load type, and use Bubble Soak for heavily soiled items before the main wash cycle begins.

Drum and Drawer Care:

Run the Drum Clean+ programme monthly without a load to keep the drum fresh. The StayClean Drawer is designed to reduce detergent residue build-up, but wiping the drawer tray periodically keeps the dispenser working correctly. Leave the door and drawer slightly open between washes to allow air circulation inside the drum.

Descaling and Maintenance:

In hard water areas, use a washing machine descaler every three months to protect the heating element and drum. Check the filter at the front lower panel every few months and clear any lint or debris to maintain drainage performance. Wipe the door seal with a damp cloth regularly to prevent residue build-up in the folds.
