Shark CarpetXpert HairPro Pet Carpet Cleaner with Built-In StainStriker

Deep carpet cleaning with HairPro pet technology:

The Shark EX300UK is a corded pet carpet cleaner built around HairPro technology, which uses anti-clumping, anti-clogging, and anti-tangle action to send pet hair directly into the dirty water tank rather than clogging the machine or leaving wet clumps behind. A high-speed brush-roll with 6 rows of uninterrupted bristles works across the full cleaning path, and a high-pressure spray reaches deep into carpet fibres without oversoaking them. Whether you are dealing with pet hair, ground-in dirt, or general carpet grime, the EX300UK cleans well below the surface in a single pass.

Built-in StainStriker for targeted spot cleaning:

The built-in StainStriker handheld tool uses a dual-activated cleaning solution - mixing Shark CarpetXpert Deep Clean Pet Formula with StainStriker OXY Multiplier Formula inside the tool itself - to deliver 20x more stain-removal power than the Deep Clean Pet Formula used alone. It works without heat or pre-treatment, tackling pet stains and odours on carpets, upholstery, rugs, and in the car. The flexible 2m hose gives you full reach without moving the main unit.

Two cleaning modes and a self-wash cycle:

The EX300UK offers Auto and Deep Clean modes, letting you match the cleaning intensity to the carpet and the level of soiling. Once the job is done, the Rinse & Go self-wash cycle cleans the tools and hose in seconds, so the machine is ready for its next use without manual scrubbing. A Dry Only mode finishes the clean with suction only, removing excess moisture from the carpet after wet cleaning.

Practical tank layout and generous cord length:

A 2.1L fresh water tank means fewer refill trips on larger rooms, and the 0.85L dirty water tank keeps used water separate throughout the clean. The detergent tank holds 500ml of cleaning solution. With a 7.6m cord and a 2m hose, the EX300UK covers a good-sized room from a single socket without constant repositioning.

Setup and Care

Getting started:

Fill the fresh water tank and the detergent tank before first use, and attach your chosen tool to the flexible hose. The machine is upright and ready to use straight from the box - no additional assembly is required beyond attaching the hose tools.

Choosing the right mode:

Select Auto for everyday carpet refreshing and lighter soiling, or switch to Deep Clean mode for heavily soiled areas and embedded pet hair. Use the StainStriker attachment for targeted spot treatment on stains, upholstery, or in the car.

After each use:

Run the Rinse & Go self-wash cycle to flush the tools and hose clean before storing. Empty and rinse both the fresh water tank and the dirty water tank after every session to keep the machine in good working order.

Compatibility note:

Check the manufacturer's tag before cleaning rugs; deep cleaning is not recommended for delicate rugs such as cotton, wool, silk, antique, natural hide or leather. Use only Shark CarpetXpert-compatible cleaning formulas in the detergent tank to maintain cleaning performance and protect the machine's internal components.
