Setup and Care

Getting Started:

The Basic Feet stand attaches to the base of the TV using the included screws and a standard Phillips screwdriver. The Tizen OS setup wizard launches on first power-on and guides you through Wi-Fi connection, Samsung account login, and app installation. A VESA 200 x 200mm pattern is available on the rear if wall mounting is preferred - a compatible bracket is sold separately.

Connecting Your Devices:

Use the three HDMI ports for set-top boxes, games consoles, or Blu-ray players - HDMI 2 carries eARC for high-quality audio return to a compatible soundbar without a separate optical cable. The single USB-A port supports media playback from USB drives. Ethernet and Wi-Fi 5 are both available for network connection, with Apple AirPlay and Google Cast enabling wireless screen mirroring from compatible phones and tablets.

Screen Care:

Wipe the screen gently with a soft, dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. Avoid applying liquid cleaners directly to the panel surface. Switch the TV to standby when not in use to extend panel life and keep standby consumption at 0.5W.

Software and Security Updates:

Tizen OS updates download automatically over Wi-Fi when the TV is in standby. Samsung Knox Security guarantees ongoing security patch updates through to at least 31 December 2031, keeping the operating system protected for the long term.
