Setup and Care

Getting Started:

Use the on-screen setup guide to connect to your home Wi-Fi network, sign into your Samsung account, and configure your preferred streaming apps in a single session. The HDMI 1 port with eARC is the recommended connection point for soundbars or AV receivers.

Wall Mounting:

The UE65U8000HKXXU is compatible with VESA 200 x 200 mm wall mounts. The set weighs 14.1 kg without the stand, so a wall mount rated to at least 20 kg is recommended to allow a safe safety margin. Samsung's Full Motion Slim Wall Mount (Y22) is a compatible optional accessory.

Screen Care:

Clean the screen using a soft, dry microfibre cloth with light pressure. Avoid spray cleaners, window cleaning products, or abrasive cloths, as these can damage the panel coating. The Eco Sensor will adjust brightness based on ambient room lighting, which also helps reduce unnecessary power draw.

Energy Saving:

The built-in Eco Sensor and Auto Power Off setting help manage energy consumption during normal use. The standby draw is 0.50 W; switching the TV off at the wall when not in use for extended periods is the most effective way to eliminate standby consumption entirely.
