11kg Washing Machines

11kg Washing Machines

An 11kg drum sits just above the common 10kg step and suits large households doing frequent, heavy loads without needing the largest 12kg machines. Most models here run a 1400rpm spin. Samsung's SpaceMax design is built to fit more drum capacity into a standard-width machine without taking up extra floor space, and its AI Energy models adjust wash settings automatically based on load size and fabric type. Candy's Rapido range is built around shorter cycle times for washing large loads without the longest wash programmes. Finishes run white and black, so options exist for both a plain utility room and a more integrated black-finish look.

Samsung leads the range at this size across the Series 5 SpaceMax and Series 5+ SpaceMax lines. Hoover H-WASH 500 is a Wi-Fi enabled 11kg model, and Blomberg and Candy round out the line-up. For other capacities, see the washing machines collection.

The large capacity machines carry the highest prices in laundry and take the biggest absolute reductions as a result. SpaceMax and similar designs are the ones worth watching, because they fit an 11kg drum into a standard width cabinet, so a sale price can get you the capacity without the kitchen alteration.
