The reliable saving at this size is not a seasonal promotion, it is the model year. Manufacturers announce a new range each spring, and the previous generation drops in price without getting any worse: a 2025 OLED is the same panel it was when it was the flagship twelve months earlier. Then the practical checks that cost people money when they skip them: measure the route into the room as well as the wall, because an 85 inch carton will not go up a tight stairs; check the VESA pattern and the weight rating if it is going on a bracket; and check the foot spacing rather than the panel width if it is going on a unit.
