• Remove the handheld from the unit.
  Open the dust cup, empty into the trash if required and then remove the filters.
• Rinse the filters with water only and allow them to dry for 24 – 48 hours before inserting into the handheld.
• Remove debris and hair from the brushroll.
• If your unit has dirt or floor detect sensors, use a clean dry cloth to wipe them down free from debris.
  
  
  

1. Remove dust bin and empty it.
2. To access the Auto-Empty Exhaust Foam Filter, remove the dust bin.
3. Before removing the Exhaust Foam Filter, vacuum off any fine debris from the surface.
4. Lift the Exhaust Foam Filter out of the dock, then rinse it with water only (do not use soap).
5. Allow the filter to air-dry completely before reinstalling it.
   
   
   
   

To clean a hair tool filter, we recommend using a new toothbrush to clean any dust or debris off the filter. Make sure to brush in a downward motion towards the power cord and keep brushing until the dust and debris have been removed from the mesh.

Before starting, make sure that your hair dryer is turned off and unplugged. Simply brush away any lint, hair or dust on the vented area at the back of your hair dryer using the brush.

In general, the higher the temperatures used on your hair, the more likely you are to cause heat damage. However, the temperatures you’re using on your hair should be dependent on the condition of the hair (including wet or dry, bleached/damaged, etc), style being created (i.e. how much time the tool is on each part of the hair for) and the thickness of your hair. 

Alan Truman suggests people with extremely thin hair shouldn’t be using anything above 160℃.

Use a vacuum cleaner on low speed with a soft brush attachment or a cloth/towel to remove debris from the dust filter.

It is recommended to maintain the fan every 6 months or as needed.
